On Sept 9th, 2010, Automattic donated the WordPress trademark to the WordPress Foundation. The result of this transfer is great for the WordPress community and the long-term health of the WordPress CMS, but it directly impacts this site. The WordPress Foundation has posted its Trademark Policy and it appears that this site is currently in violation of that policy. I am evaluating the best way to return to compliance. Since this site is a non-commercial effort and its goals are to spread the love about the WordPress CMS engine and give readers useful information to help them run WordPress as the core of their website as efficiently, effectively, safely and productively as possible, I think is should be easy to get the site back into compliance.
If you have any suggestions, comments or ideas about this site and how to ensure that it supports the WordPress Foundation, helps spread the word about WordPress and remain in compliance, please share below.
